COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY PLAZA - NEW YORK

We developed a digital twin from a point cloud scan of the Columbia University Plaza Square in New York. The scope was to accurately model the topography and landscape, providing a precise Revit model that could serve as a foundation for future planning, analysis, and design integration

The model included topography and the exterior facade of the adjacent buildings.

[ Challenges ]
Recreating Custom Curtain Wall

Another important task was modeling the custom curtain wall paneling. Some panels had angled layouts and unique dimensions, so we built them carefully in Revit to match the design and ensure the model stayed accurate for documentation and planning

Street`s Lampost

We also created a custom Revit family for the street's lamppost, accurately replicating its design and proportions to keep the model consistent with the site conditions.
